WARNING!
Danger of severe personal inju-
ries!
If the ride-on mower is incomple-
tely assembled, people may be se-
verely damaged during operation.
The ride-on mower must not be ope-
rated before it has been fully assem-
bled. Carry out all the tasks descri-
bed in these operating instructions.
If you are uncertain about anything,
ask a specialist to confirm that the
assembly has been carried out cor-
rectly before the machine is started
up.
6. The ride-on mower must be assembled as de-
scribed in the following steps:
"Attaching the steering wheel"
"Attaching the seat"
"Assembling and attaching the grass
sack"
CAUTION!
Danger of damage to the engine!
If the engine is operated without
oil or with a low oil level, it is se-
verely damaged.
Before operating for the first time, fill
the engine with the intended quality
of oil, and check the oil level at regu-
lar intervals during operation.
The use of an oil without cleaning ad-
ditive or of an oil for 2-stroke engines
can reduce the working life of the en-
gine.

Unpacking and assembling the ride-on mower
7. Before the engine is started, oil and fuel must
therefore be filled as per the requirements of
the engine operating instructions.
Attaching the steering wheel (03)
1. Position the ride-on mower on a flat surface,
with the wheels pointing straight ahead.
2. Push the steering wheel (03/1) onto the pro-
jecting spindle stub (03/2), and align the stee-
ring wheel in such a way that its spokes are
aligned straight and symmetrically in the di-
rection of the driver's position.
3. Align the bore of the steering wheel hub with
the bore of the spindle, and push the supplied
locking pin (03/3) in as far as possible.
4. Use a hammer to drive the locking pin so far
in that it projects completely from the opposite
side.
CAUTION!
Risk of material damage from an
unsuitable tool! If the locking pin
is driven in using a tool which is
not approved, the steering wheel,
dashboard, housing, or steering
wheel spindle may be damaged.
To drive in the locking pin, use only
a suitable hammer.
Attaching the seat (04)
1. Use a screwdriver to remove one of the two
circlips (04/1) of the holding pin (04/2)
2. Pull the holding pin out of the holding eyes of
the chassis (04/3).
3. Position the seat (04/6) with the eyes verti-
cally downwards located on the holding eyes
of the chassis, so that the holding pin can be
pushed through all the eyes.
4. Push the holding pin through all the eyes so
that the seat is connected to the chassis.
5. Reattach the removed circlip to the holding
pin, so that the pin cannot slip out any more.
6. Push the cable socket into the plug (04/4) un-
der the seat.
7. Guide the power cable into the holding spring
(04/5) on the chassis.
✓ The seat can be folded, and is firmly fixed
