If the replaced fuse burns out again after
a short time, contact your service work-
shop. In this case, it is necessary to trou-
bleshoot the cause of the fuse blowing.
START-UP
WARNING!
Danger if assembly is not carried out
completely!
Do not operate the lawn tractor before it
has been fully assembled!
Carry out all the tasks described in these
operating instructions. If you are uncer-
tain about anything, ask a specialist to
confirm that the assembly has been car-
ried out correctly before the machine is
started up!
Check all safety and protective devices
are in place and functioning correctly!
Before use, always look and check whether the
cutter, fastening pin and the entire mowing unit
are worn or damaged. Worn or damaged blades
must be renewed by new ones in order to avoid
any imbalance.
Checking the mower mechanism
Before use, always look and check whether the

are worn or damaged. Worn or damaged blades
must be renewed by new ones in order to avoid
any imbalance.
Oil fill
The ride-on mower is delivered without oil. The
engine must therefore be filled with oil before in-
itial start-up. The oil capacity is approx. 1.4 litres.
CAUTION!
Danger of damage to the engine!
If the engine is operated without oil or
with a low oil level, it is severely da-
maged.
Before operating for the first time, fill the
engine with the intended quality of oil,
and check the oil level at regular intervals
during operation.
The use of an oil without cleaning addi-
tive or of an oil for 2-stroke engines can
reduce the working life of the engine.
Filling with oil and checking the oil level are de-
scribed in the section "Oil change".

ADVICE
For detailed information, refer to the in-
structions of the engine manufacturer.
Fuel fill (16)
WARNING!
Dangers when handling fuel!
Only fill the fuel tank outdoors! Do not
smoke! Do not refuel when the engine is
running or is hot!
Note the following points:
Use a suitable funnel (16/1) or a filler pipe
when refuelling, so that no fuel is spilled on
the engine, the housing, or the ground.
For safety reasons, the fuel tank cap and
other tank caps must be renewed if damaged.
Do not start the engine if the fuel has over-
flowed. The ride-on mower must be remo-
ved from the area contaminated by fuel, and
the spilled fuel must be absorbed and wiped
away from the ground, the engine, and the
housing, using a cloth.
Do not make any attempt to start the machine
until fuel vapours have evaporated.
Only keep the fuel in containers intended for
this purpose.
Use lead-free petrol, min. RON 91.
Filling the tank
1. Switch off the engine and remove the ignition
key as a precaution.
2. Wait until the engine has cooled down so-
mewhat (risk of explosion from flammable
fuel).
3. Open the tank cap (16/2) and pour in the fuel.
CAUTION!
Avoid overfilling the fuel tank!
4. Close the fuel tank again.
Checking tyre pressure and pumping with air
The correct tyre pressure is an important prere-
quisite for positioning the mower mechanism cor-
rectly, and therefore also for a uniformly mown
lawn. Check the tyre pressure at regular intervals.
1. Position the ride-on mower on an even and
firm surface, and remove the ignition key.
2. Wait for about 1 hour after use, so that the ty-
res have cooled down. The tyre pressure can
be measured correctly only when the tyres are
cool.
