STOP position = mower mechanism is
switched off.
START position = mower mechanism is
switched on.
If you attempt to switch on the mower mecha-

brake is activated at the same time.
CAUTION!
Danger of personal injury from blades
which run on!
When the cutting blades are turning
or running down, they can cause lace-
ration injuries to hands and feet.
Therefore, keep hands and feet away
from the blade.
Parking brake lever (08/1)
Always operate this lever before climbing off, and
thereby prevent the parked ride-on mower from
setting itself in motion. To lock the parking brake,
pull the parking brake lever towards you (position
A) and then to the left. To release move the par-
king brake lever to the right (position B).
Drive pedals for forward (09/1) and reverse
motion (09/2)
The ride-on mower is equipped with a foot-ope-
rated hydrostatic transmission. There are two pe-
dals on the right side, for driving forwards and in
reverse.
The reverse and forward speed range depends
on the setting of the slider control for the engine
speed (07/1).
