CHAPTER 9: DIAGNOSTICS
9.1

GENERAL WARNINGS

If any of the anomalies described below should
occur, solve the problem, where allowed, with
respect to all instructions contained in this
manual. If the problem persists, contact the
Authorised After-Sales Centre.
9.2

TROUBLESHOOTING

EN
MALFUNCTION The
induction chamber does not heat up.
CAUSE
1. The instrument is made from a material
which does not conduct heat.
2. The instrument is tarnished (the sensors
detect light colours more easily).
3. The sensors do not "detect" the presence
of the spatula.
4. The power cable is not connected.
5. There is no current to the socket.
6. The appliance is off.
7. Electrical fault.
REMEDY
1. Replace the instrument used.
2. Clean or replace the instrument used.
3. Adjust the sensitivity of the sensors.
4. Connect the power cable.
5. Check the socket/electrical panel in the
building.
6. Turn the appliance on by pressing the
ON/OFF button.
7. Contact an authorised service centre.
MALFUNCTION Red LED flashing rapidly.
CAUSE
1. An object has been left for too long in
the induction chamber.
2. The sensor is disorientated.
3. Electrical fault.
REMEDY
1. Remove the object from the induction
chamber.
2. Turn the tool heater off, then on again.
If the problem continues, adjust the
sensitivity of the sensors.
3. Contact an authorised service centre.
MALFUNCTION The cooling fan makes a different
noise from usual.
CAUSE
1. Appliance overheated.
2. Faulty fan.
REMEDY
1. Turn the appliance off and allow it to
cool down.
2. Contact an authorised service centre.
