Min. collector 10 ... 20 ... 80 °C: if the collector
temp. temperature falls below the temperature set
here, the solar pump is switched off, even if
all switch-on conditions have been met.
Vac. tube Yes: the solar pump is switched on briefly
pump anti- every 15 minutes between 6:00 and 22:00
seize in order to pump the heated solar thermal
fluid to the temperature sensor.
No: vacuum tube solar collector pump anti-
seize function switched off.
Southern Yes: if the collector temperature falls below
Europe the set value ( Switch-on temp. S.Eur.
function fct.), the solar pump is on. This pumps hot
water from the cylinder through the
collector. If the collector temperature
exceeds the set temperature by 2 K, the
pump is off.
This function is intended solely for regions
where the high temperatures mean that
damage from freezing usually cannot occur.
Caution! The Southern Europe function
does not provide absolute protection from
damage caused by freezing. The system may
need to be operated with solar thermal fluid
instead of water only!
No: Southern Europe function switched off.
Switch-on 4 ... 5 ... 8 °C: if the collector temperature
temp. S.Eur. falls below the value set here, the solar pump
fct. is on.

is exceeded in cylinder 3, the transfer pump
is off.
Switch-on diff. 6 ... 20 K: if the differential set here between
heat ex. the cylinder temperature and the
temperature at the heat exchanger is
exceeded and all switch-on conditions have
been met, the cylinder primary pump is on.
Switch-off diff. 3 ... 17 K: if the differential between the
heat ex. cylinder temperature and the temperature at
the heat exchanger falls below the value set
here, the cylinder primary pump is off.
Frost prot. 3 ... 5 ... 20 °C: if the temperature at the
temp. heat ex. external heat exchanger falls below the
temperature set here, the cylinder primary
pump is on. This protects the heat exchanger
from damage from freezing.
