5 Troubleshooting
Use only original spare parts. Damage caused by the use of
spare parts not supplied by the manufacturer is excluded from
the warranty.
▶ If a fault cannot be rectified, please contact your local
service engineer.
If the coding switch is set to 0 for > 2 seconds when the power
supply is switched on, all module settings are reset to their
default settings. The control unit issues a fault display.
▶ Restart the module.
The On/Off indicator indicates the operating condition of the
module.

Remedy
▶ Adjust the coding
switch
▶ Turn on the mains
power supply.
▶ When the power supply
is switched off, replace
the fuse ( Fig. 16 at
end of this document).
▶ Check BUS connection
and repair if necessary.
▶ Replace the module.
▶ Adjust the coding
switch

Remedy
▶ Shorten the BUS
connection.
▶ The system yield is
largely maintained.
Nevertheless, the fault
should be remedied
when maintenance
work is next performed
on the system at the
latest.
▶ The corresponding
instructions for the
control unit and the
service manual contain
additional notices for
troubleshooting.
Normal Operation
Only freshwater station:
after the mains voltage is
switched on or water is
initially drawn off, the
display lights up once for
several seconds when the
sensor is detected.
