Conergy SmartControl System
8.2
Firmware update
The Conergy ControlCenter enables you to transfer firmware
updates to the hardware components of the PV system.
Before commissioning the system, Conergy recommends
that the latest firmware versions be transferred to all
components. This must take place via a local connection to
the components (not an Internet connection!). In addition, a
single firmware version must always be installed on
components of the same type, e.g. the same version of the
Conergy SmartControl firmware must be installed on all
Conergy SmartControl monitoring units.
Ensure that the components are not being worked on while
the firmware is being transferred.
Transferring the firmware
1. The latest versions of the firmware for all components can
be downloaded onto the computer from the Conergy
website.
2. Connect the computer to the system. Proceed as per the
instructions in Chapter 8.1, page 75 .
3. In the Conergy ControlCenter software, select a Conergy
SmartControl from the System menu.
4. Select the submenu Firmware.
5. The procedure for selecting the desired component and
the transfer process are explained in the context-sensitive
help in the software.
The transfer process has two stages:
|
The firmware is transferred to the Conergy
SmartControl.
The Transfer LED on the Conergy SmartControl flashes
rapidly.
|
The firmware is transferred to the component selected.
The CANopen Run LED on the component flashes and
CANopen Error lights up. The LED indicators on the
Conergy SmartControl are off.
