10.6 Environmental factors

f Avoid contact with highly acidic or alkaline substances.
Resistance to common media in the assembly area is provided.
These include:
– Water
– Mineral oil
– Lubricating greases
– Detergent
If in doubt about the resistance to certain chemicals, we recommend contacting your
Rexroth specialist.
These include:
– Test oil
– Doped oils
– Aggressive cleaning agents
– Solvents
– Brake fluid
Liquids that thicken on evaporation and are highly viscous or sticky can lead to a
malfunctions.
In such instances, special care must be taken when planning the system and the
maintenance and cleaning intervals must be shortened.
