6. OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Before mounting the equipment, read the user guide carefully.
Do not plug the air duct of the installed device with materials that accumulate dust like blinds, curtains, etc.
as this will prevent the air from circulating properly in the room.
The device has four possible operating modes:
•
Natural ventilation: the louvres are open, the fan is not running.
•
Supply only: the ventilation unit brings outdoor air into the room.
•
Exhaust only: the device exhausts air or brings it in at the selected speed.
•
Heat recovery ventilation: the device runs in reversible mode with heat and humidity recovery.
In heat recovery ventilation mode: the device operates in two, 70-second cycles.
Cycle I. Warm polluted air is exhausted from the room and, passing through the ceramic exchanger, gradually heats and humidifies it, returning
up to 90% of the heat. After 70 seconds, when the ceramic heat exchanger is hot, the device switches to air supply mode.
Cycle II. The outdoor air flows through the ceramic heat exchanger, becomes moist and reaches room temperature thanks to the heat
accumulated in the heat exchanger. After 70 seconds, when the heat exchanger has cooled down, the device switches back to exhaust mode and
the cycle starts again.

A round hole needs to be drilled in the wall to fit the Nano Air 50. Use
the cardboard template supplied to mark the position relative to the
duct hole and cable outlet.
Insert the air duct in the wall using the polystyrene shims supplied and fix it with mounting foam.
The telescopic end of the air duct is used to install the outdoor ventilation hood.
Install the air duct with at least 3 mm slope on the outdoor wall side.
Distance A is indicated in the outdoor rainhood installation instructions. The length of the air duct can be
modified before and after it is fixed in the wall.
In the first case, calculate the length required before mounting it and in the second case, make sure there is enough access to cut the air conduct to length
after it is installed.

Insert the air intake duct in the wall. Use the mounting shims included in
the delivery package for easier installation. From the outside of the wall,
the air duct must protrude for a distance A, which is necessary when
installing an external ventilation hood. The ventilation cover manual
states distance A .
