5.6.6
Flushing drain
When flushing DHK/UI, rotate the flushing drain (Fig. 3,
item 6) downwards to stop the contaminated diesel/oil
mixture running into the test oil tank of the EPS 205.
For this purpose, a vessel must be placed under the
flushing drain on the workbench (on the left next to the
EPS 205).
5.6.7
Internal extraction controller
The internal extractor of the EPS 205 is activated auto-
matically in the spray pattern test. This is only possible
with compressed air connected up on the back of the
device (Fig. 2, item 2). The oil mist vapor occurring with
open injection is extracted in the jet chamber and fil-
tered internally. The extraction intensity is set with the
extraction controller (Fig. 1, item 7).

For the residual oil mist it is advisable to addition-
ally connect an oil mist extraction and filtering unit
to the connection for external extraction (Fig. 1,
item 4).
