Decommissioning
9.1
Change of location
Heed the following if the EPS 205 is to be relocated:
R
Unplug the electrical connection.
R
Disconnect the pneumatic connection.
R
Drain the test oil out of the test oil tank (see sec.
8.2.6, steps 1 to 8).
R
Re-fit the transportation safeguards for the drive
unit (see sec. 6.4).
R
The EPS 205 is only to be transported in a crate.
If the EPS 205 is to be sold or passed on, all the docu-
mentation included in the scope of delivery must be
handed over together with the unit.
9.2
Scrapping
Before scrapping, the test oil in the EPS 205 must be
drained off. The pipe filter at the flowmeter, the intake
filter in the test oil tank and the filter mats for external
extraction in the jet chamber unit must also be removed
and disposed of.
i
Oils are hazardous to water and must be disposed
of in the legally specified manner. Test oil as per
ISO 4113 is a category 1 oil. This category includes
recyclable, low viscosity and mineral oil. Used oils of
category 1 must not contain any foreign substances,
e.g. used oil of a different category or gasoline.
Test oil must be disposed of by commercial used oil
disposal companies and is subject to charge. The
corresponding refuse code number 54112 must be
quoted to ensure proper disposal.
9.3
Disposal
This EPS 205 is subject to European guide-
lines 2012/19/EU (WEEE).
Old electrical and electronic devices, including-
cables and accessories or batteries must be
disposed of separate to household waste.
¶
Please use the return and collection sys-
tems in place for disposal in your area.
¶
Damage to the environment and hazards to
personal health are prevented by properly
disposing of EPS 205.

The EPS 205 satisfies the requirements of the EMC di-
rective 2004/108/EG.
i
The EPS 205 is a class/category A product as de-
fined by EN 61 326. The EPS 205 may cause high-fre-
quency household interference (radio interference)
so that interference suppression may be necessary.
In such cases the user may be required to take the
appropriate action.
