FIRST START
WARNING! The unit initial start-up operations and the relative tests must
be performed by skilled technical personnel.
BEFORE THE FIRST STARTUP THE UNIT CHECK THE FOLLOWING POINTS
• Fastening of the unit at the ceiling or at the wall, floor, roof, etc..
• Hearth wiring and all electrical connections have been tightened.
• Ducts connection. - Fastening of the inspection panels.
• Available feeding voltage.
• Check that the water shut-off valves near the unit are open. Make sure that the air
inside the water supply piping has been bled off.
• Check the seal of the water supply pipe system.
• Make sure that all the current norms, laws and standards relative to the installa-
tion of these units have been observed.
MANDATORY: First start-up operations must only be carried out by specialised
and qualified personnel.
TO PERFORM FIRST START-UP, PROCEED AS FOLLOWS
Ensure the main circuit breaker is engaged. Power the unit.
The unit works differently depending on the adjustment system (control pa-
nel, board, regulator, electrical panel, etc.) to which it is connected. In fact,
each type of adjustment has different functions. Therefore, always refer
to the instructions supplied with the specific adjustment system provided.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS >> Summer: set the adjustment system to a
temperature a few degrees lower than the current one. Winter: set the
adjustment system to a temperature a few degrees higher than the current
one.
It is recommended to operate the unit at maximum speed for a few hours
as soon as assembled and after long periods of downtime (to evaporate,
dilute, disperse and remove any processing residues or substances accu-
mulated during periods of downtime).
WITH THE UNIT RUNNING, CHECK THE ELECTRICAL ABSORPTION AND
AIR FLOW RATE.
Once operations are complete, check that the electrical absorption is less
than or equal to that shown on the unit's label. The electrical absorption
can never be higher than the rated one, otherwise you risk burning the
unit !!!
NB 1 (declaration of conformity): This unit must be installed by an autho-
rised and qualified company that, at the end of the operations, must issue
a declaration of conformity stating installation has been carried out in a
workmanlike manner (i.e. in compliance with the Project drawn up by the
designer, to the Standards in force and to the Manufacturer's specifica-
tions provided in this manual).
NB 2 (test report): the authorised company, after the first start-up, must
draw up the test and first unit start-up report (with signature for acceptan-
ce by the customer) and the system booklet (when required), in compliance
with the regulations in force and taking charge of the machine, with rele-
vant liabilities.
The lack of the declaration of conformity and/or the test report
voids the warranty and any other liability of the manufacturer with
regard to the unit.
NB 3 (information for the user): it is recommended for the authorised com-
pany that carried out the first start-up to notify the user at the end of the
works on all operations required for the correct operation and use of the
unit, with particular regard to the mandatory periodic checks (routine main-
tenance to be carried out by the user + special maintenance to be carried
out by specialised personnel).
PROVISIONS FOR THE USER: USE
Unit Start-up and Shutdown
• CAUTION! The first unit start-up must be performed by specialised/qualified tech-
nical personnel and specifically of the installation company who, having comple-
ted the system operations, is able to verify its safety and functionality as a whole.
Before starting to use the unit, make sure this manual, the system's declaration
of conformity, the test and first unit start-up reports are available (and also the
system booklet when required).
• Before starting up the unit for the first time, check that the installation company
has carried out all operations they are responsible for (see previous paragraphs).
• Do not leave the unit powered when it is no longer in use.
FAULT OR MALFUNCTION

• Only contact professionally qualified personnel.
• Any repairs on the unit must only be carried out by an Assistance Centre authori-
sed by the manufacturer using only original spare parts.
• Failure to comply with the above may compromise the safety of the unit
CAUTION ! To ensure the efficiency of the unit and for its correct operation,
it is crucial to have annual maintenance carried out by professionally quali-
fied personnel, following the manufacturer's instructions.
