Connect the three red cables (3) to the positive (+) terminal
and the three black cables (4) to the negative (–) terminal
using the supplied screws and following the sequence
shown.
Refit the front cover (1) by correctly inserting the two tabs
(2) into the slots and pressing the lower part until it clicks
into place.
Charge according to the battery manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
To avoid tripping the electronic board
IMPORTANT
protection device, never attempt to start the engine if the
battery is not fully charged!

4. CONTROLS
• Steering wheel (Fig. 9 No. 1)
• Throttle lever (Fig. 9 No. 2)
• Parking brake lever (Fig. 9 No.3)

• Key switch (Fig. 9 No.4)
The key enables/disables the machine and headlights ignition
(if available).
Stop position.

IMPORTANT Remove the key whenever the machine is left
unattended or not in use.
• Indicator lights and signaling devices (Fig. 9 No. 5)
This indicator light switches on when the key is in the
"RUN" position and remains permanently lit during op-
eration.
– When it flashes, it means that there is no engine start
consent.
– When the cutting means is engaged, the audible signal
warns that the grass catcher is full.

To move from one position to another, the lever must be
moved sideways and repositioned in one of the stop notches.
• Reverse cutting enable pedal (Fig. 9 No. 8)
Press and hold the pedal to reverse while the cutting means
are engaged, without causing the engine to stop.
• Brake pedal (hydrostatic drive) (Fig. 10 No. 21)
This pedal operates the brakes on the rear wheels.
• Speed adjustment lever (hydrostatic drive) (Fig. 10
No. 22)
The function of this lever is to engage the wheel drive
and to modulate the speed of the machine, both in
forward and reverse
• Hydrostatic drive release lever (hydrostatic drive)

"A" = Drive engaged
"B" = Drive disengaged
• Clutch/brake pedal (mechanical drive) (Fig. 10
No. 21. A)
This pedal acts as a clutch in the first part of its travel by
engaging or disengaging the traction to the wheels and
in the second part acts as a brake by acting on the rear
wheels.
• Speed shift control lever (mechanical transmission)
(Fig. 10 No. 22. A)
This lever has seven positions, corresponding to the five
forward gears, neutral "N" and reverse "R".
To shift from one gear to the other, press the pedal halfway
down and move the lever according to the indications on
the label.
