PROBLEM
5. Starting is difficult or the engine
runs erratically
6. Weak engine performance
during cutting
7. The engine stops during work
and the indicator light flashes
8. The engine stops and the
indicator light goes out
9. The engine stops and the
indicator light remains lit
10. The cutting means do not
engage or do not stop promptly
when they are disengaged
11. Uneven mowing and insufficient
collection
12. Unusual vibrations while
working
13. Uncertain or ineffective braking
14. Erratic forward movement,
poor drive when going uphill or
if the machine has a tendency
to rear up
15. When the engine is running,
the machine remains stationary
when the drive pedal is
pressed
PROBABLE CAUSE
– carburation problems
– forward speed too high in relation
to the cutting height
The safety device of the electronic
circuit board has cut in due to:
– Safety devices intervention
The safety device of the electronic
circuit board has cut in due to:
– Low battery
– over-voltage caused by the
charger regulator
– battery not connected correctly
(poor contacts)
– engine problems
– problems with the coupling
system
– cutting means assembly is not
parallel to the ground
– inefficient cutting means
– forward speed too high
compared to height of grass
– collector chute is blocked
– the cutting means assembly is
full of grass
– the cutting means are
unbalanced or loose
– loose bolts and screws
– the brake is not adjusted
correctly
– problems with the belt or the
engagement device
– release lever in position «B»

SOLUTION
– clean or replace the air filter
– clean the carburettor bowl
– empty the fuel tank and refill with
fresh fuel
– check and replace the fuel filter if
necessary
– reduce the forward speed and/or
raise the cutting height (see 5.4)
Turn the ignition key to «STOP»
position and look for the cause of the
problem:
– check that all starting conditions are
met (see 5.2)
Turn the ignition key to «STOP»
position and look for the cause of the
problem:
– recharge the battery (see 6.4)
– contact an Authorised Assistance
Centre
– check the battery connections
(see 3.2)
– contact an Authorised Assistance
Centre
– contact your Dealer
– check the tyre pressure (see 5.1)
– reinstate the alignment of the cutting
means assembly in relation to the
ground (see 6.4.1)
– contact your Dealer
– reduce the forward speed and/or
raise the cutting means assembly
(see 6.5)
– wait for the grass to dry
– remove the grass catcher bag and
empty the chute (see 5.4)
– clean the cutting means assembly
(see 6.3)
– contact your Dealer
– check and tighten all the engine and
frame bolts
– contact your Dealer
– contact your Dealer
– bring it back in pos. «A»
(see 4)
