USE AND OPERATION
REMOVING THE BASKET AND USE OF THE HANDLES
WARNING:To avoid any health and
safety risks (back injuries) arising from the
handling of the equipment, the basket con-
taining the product must be removed by
two operatives or with the aid of suitable
lifting equipment .
WARNING:To avoid scalding, suit-
able equipment (gloves, hooks, etc .) should
be used when pulling out the handles used
to lift the basket .
If the safety thermostat is tripped because the
water level in the jacket is too low, the appli-
ance has to be restored to working conditions
as follows .
Check and if necessary top up the water level

in the jacket (see page 20) .
Open the hatch (A) .
2)
Press the button (B) of the safety thermostat
3)
to restore the gas supply .
Close the door (A) when the operation is
4)
complete . .
If the appliance is to be out of use for a lengthy
period, proceed as follows .
Cut off the mains electricity supply using the

appliance's master switch .
Clean the appliance and the surrounding ar-

Spread a film of edible oil over the stainless

Carry out all the servicing procedures .

Cover the appliance and leave a few gaps to
