EXHAUST SYSTEM
A running engine will produce carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide and hydrocarbon. Under certain conditions, nitrous oxide and hydrocarbon may react
chemically to form smoke. Carbon monoxide is toxic, so exhaust gas control is very important. The manufacturer reduces exhaust emissions by inserting into
the engine economical carburetors and other devices that minimize this problem.
To maintain the emission standard, pay attention to the following:
Maintenance
Provide your motor with periodic maintenance according to the maintenance schedule in the manual. The maintenance schedule is based on normal use
under normal conditions. When used under heavy loads, in dusty or wet conditions, or in high temperatures, maintenance should be performed more
frequently.
Replacement of parts
We recommend that you choose parts that are manufactured by the same manufacturer or match them in quality as spare parts. Otherwise, the exhaust
system may be damaged.
Modifying
Modification of the exhaust system control may result in exceeding the statutory values. You must not:
a) Remove or modify any part of the air intake or exhaust system.
b) Modify or disassemble the speed control components or the speed control devices in order to make the engine run beyond the set parameters.
Problems affecting the emissions value:
a) Problematic engine start or stop.
b) Unstable idling.
c) Black smoke or excessive fuel consumption.
d) Weak ignition sparks.
When you find any of the above problems, contact the manufacturer for repair.
