1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Identification of the manufacturer

1.3 Warnings
• The lifting stationmust be used by competent and experienced persons: keep out of reach of children and persons with reduced mental
or sensory capabilities.
• Installation and maintenance must be carried out by specialised technical personnel.
• The installer must check the conditions of use to ensure safe operation.
• People and animals should not come into contact with the liquid contained in the tank.
• Do not ingest or inhale any component.
• Do not bring the end of electrical cables into contact with any liquid.
• Do not make any modifications to the pump (cables, flanges, etc.) or to the tank (holes, plugs, etc.).
• Observe the safety regulations in force in the country of use and the rules dictated by common sense.
1.4 Qualification of installation and maintenance personnel
Personnel installingand maintaining the lifting station must be able to read and understand the content of the enclosed technical documentation
and in particular the wiring diagrams.
They must also be instructed on the residual risks related to electrical equipment installed in contact with biological liquids.
1.5 Personal protective equipment (PPE)
UsePPE (gloves, safety shoes, goggles, apron) according to standards.
1.6 Residual risks
The pumpBOX lifting station has been designed and built to ensure safe and reliable use.
However, as it is used with liquids which are hazardous to health, installation and maintenance personnel must be extremely careful during any
work.
Personnel are therefore reminded of the:
• make sure that the lifting station cannot fall over, slide or overturn.
• consider the risk of burns, electrocution, suffocation or poisoning from inhaling toxic gases in the work area.
During handling, installation or de-installation operations, the lifting station must be disconnected from the electrical control
panel
Components in contact with biological liquids must be washed with running water and/or detergents before being touched.
1.7 Warranty
Zenit undertakes to repair or replacethe lifting station if it shows defects in design, workmanship and assembly in accordance with the General
Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The warranty does not cover failures caused due to:
• normal wear.
• improper handling, installation and use.
• use with unconnected control systems.
• work carried out by unqualified personnel.
• use of non-original spare parts.

Any modification made without the manufacturer's authorisation may cause danger, loss of performance and invalidate the
warranty.

Failure to connect the thermal protection and humidity probe will invalidate the warranty.

For proper installation and safe use of the product, read this manual carefully and keep it in an easily accessible
and clean place for future reference.
Improper use may cause even serious damage to property and personal injury, abnormal operation, and may
void the warranty.
