4.3 USB KEYBOARD

In this case, the USB keyboard arrows simulate the →, ←, ↑ and ↓ keys of Guarita IP's panel, while
the USB keyboard ESC and ENTER keys correspond the same functions of the Guarita IP's ESC
and ENTER keys. In the password entry mode, to access the advanced menu, or insertion of numeric
parameters, use the USB keyboard numeric keys.
NOTE: To use the keyboard numeric keys with the Guarita IP, enable the keyboard Num
Lock function.

To equipment and devices programming it is suggested to
connect an USB keyboard into the specific input, reference 11
of image 3.1a / image 3.2b, for helping the insertion of user's
data.
To install the "Botoeira 7 Teclas" Module, with the Guarita
IP turned off, connect the FLAT CABLE into the 14 ways
male headers connector, destined to the accessory,
reference 2 of image3.1a / image 3.2a. Connect the other
FLAT CABLE ending into the "Botoeira 7 Teclas" Module,
respecting the polarity, with the FLAT CABLE red stripe
always turned to the pin 1 in both devices, image 3.2.a /
image 4.4.b. Finished the installation, turn the Guarita IP on
and set the activation keys, consult 11.3.
