2.11 Ignition unit – Valve console HV19-PVC ROBOT - Item no 462
The ignition unit – valve console is a device that performs a dual function:
- provides a high frequency-high voltage pulse necessary to strike an electric arc in the torch, between electrode and
nozzle; - manages the gas exchange in ignition-transfer transitions and when powering off. It contains solenoids, check
valves and pressure regulators. It is generally used in robotised systems. Opening the cover causes the system to stop.
