INSTALLATION

The system must be installed by qualified personnel. Carefully read the "Staff obligations and qualifications" section
in General Warnings code 3301151.
3.1

Unpacking and assembly

During transport of the device, ensure that applicable national and regional accident prevention guidelines and
regulations are observed. This applies in particular to guidelines concerning transport and shipping risks.
Carefully read the "Lifting and transporting" section in General Warnings code 3301151.
Tipping a device over may endanger life! Position the device stably on a solid, flat base. A maximum angle of
inclination of 10° is allowed. Do not lift or transport live devices.

Disconnect the device from the power supply before transporting it.

During transport of the device, ensure that all applicable local accident prevention guidelines and regulations
are observed.

Use a fork lift truck to lift the power source; consider the position of the device's centre of gravity when
positioning the lift truck forks.
After transport and before operating, a visual inspection must be performed on the device to check for any damage.
Ensure any damage is repaired by qualified CEBORA authorised technical assistance staff before operating the
device.
The capacity of the lifting device must be sufficient for the load to be lifted, according to the regulations in
force in the cutting/welding power source destination country.
All harnessing devices (straps, buckles, chains, etc.)that are used together with the device or its components must be
checked at regular intervals (e.g. for mechanical damage, corrosion or alterations caused by environmental factors).
Check intervals and scope must at least comply with national standards and directives in force from time to time.
The cooling system takes air from the rear of the power source and ejects it through the grates on the front. Position
the power source in order to ensure a wide ventilation area and maintain a distance of at least 1 m from any walls.
