Achtung. Sowohl die Schraubverbindungen, als auch die Befestigung der tranportierten Gegenstände müssen nach kürzeren Fahrtab-
schnitten immer wieder kontrolliert werden. Bei schlechter Wegbeschaffenheit oder in gebirgigem oder holprigen Gelände sind diese
Kontrollen noch öfter durchzuführen. Diese Kontrollen auf gleiche Weise vor jeder neuen Fahrt vornehmen!
Lassen Sie den Austausch beschädigter Teile des Grunddachträgers oder event. Reparaturen immer von einer Fachwerkstatt ausführen.

Always mount the roof rack and accessories strictly to the manual and follow all warning notices. The roof rack is designed for
transport of loads, including bulk objects (e.g. boxes for skis, bicycles, etc.).
The weight of the roof rack is about 5.5 kg. The service length of the carrying profile is 1030 mm in the front and 1010 mm in the back.
The maximum loading capacity of the vehicle roof (including the rack, accessories and transported objects) is 50 kg. Because of safety
reasons, the maximum loading capacity of the roof must not be exceeded!
Improper mounting or incorrect use of the basic rack may cause falling the rack off the vehicle roof, causing a traffic accident or severe
physical injuries.
Transported objects that are fastened improperly to the basic rack may get loose during the drive and also cause a traffic accident or severe
physical injuries.
Before the drive always check the roof rack for correct fastening and the transported objects if secured and fastened properly. To fix objects,
never use straps or other fastening means that are not strong enough, or that are damaged.
Distribute the transported objects on the basic rack evenly and make sure the centre of gravity is as low as possible.
If you transport bulk objects (e.g. roof boxes, bicycles, etc.), the roof is exposed to even higher load due to changed aerodynamics, therefore
adapt the speed of drive to the specific conditions.
During transport always follow the safety rules of respective country.
Safety preventive precautions that help avoid damages to your vehicle.
If you do not need to use the rack we recommend that you demount it considering traffic safety, air resistance reduction and fuel
consumption reduction.
Mounting the basic rack and fastening the objects increase the height of your vehicle. Always bear this fact in mind when
entering a garage or other height-limited areas. You will avoid potential damage to your vehicle and objects you transport.
Do not drive in a car-wash with the roof rack or its accessories mounted on the vehicle (bicycle carrier, etc.).
Caution Always check the screw connections and fastening of the transported objects after a short period of drive. If you drive on poor
quality roads or on uneven mountainous terrain, perform the check more often. Provide the same check before every drive!
Always have the damaged basic rack parts repaired in an authorized service shop.

Para el montaje del Soporte Básico -techo- y sus accesorios proceda cuidadosamente siempre de acuerdo con las instrucciones
y siga todas las advertencias. El Soporte Básico ha sido diseñado para el transporte de cargas, incluyendo una gran cantidad de
objetos de gran volumen (por ejemplo, portaesquíes, bicicletas, etc.).
El peso del Soporte Básico es de 5,5 kg. El espacio disponible útil del soporte delantero es de 1030 mm y trasero 1010 mm.
La carga máxima sobre el techo del vehículo (incluidos los del soporte, accesorios y piezas de objetos transportados) es de 50 kg. Por razo-
nes de seguridad no debe superar la carga máxima sobre el techo!
La instalación incorrecta o el uso inadecuado del Soporte puede provocar la caída desde el techo del vehículo y ocasionar un accidente de
transito o graves lesiones corporales.
Los objetos recargados, que no están debidamente sujetos al Soporte Básico pueden aflojarse mientras se conduce y también pueden
causar un accidente de transito o graves lesiones corporales.
Antes de conducir siempre verifique la correcta colocación y fijación en el Soporte y asegurese de la correcta sujeción de los objetos
transportados. Para la sujeción de los objetos nunca utilize correas u otros sujetadores que no son lo suficientemente resistentes o estén
dañados.
Distribuya uniformemente y asegure al Soporte los objetos transportados de modo que la dificultad sea la menos posible.
Cuando se transporta objetos de grandes volúmenes (por ejemplo: cajas de techo, bicicletas, etc.) el techo está expuesto a una recarga
debido a los cambios aerodinámicos, por lo tanto, ajuste la velocidad a las dichas circunstancias.
Mientras se conduce siempre deberá observar las correspondientes normas de seguridad del país.
Las medidas preventivas y de seguridad para ayudar a prevenir daños a su vehículo.
En caso de no utilizar el Soporte le recomendamos desmontarlo, por razones de seguridad en el transporte y asi reducir la resis-
tencia al aire y el combustible.
Al estar montado el Soporte Básico y contar con la sujeción de objetos al mismo, la altura de su vehículo cambia. Siempre ten-
ga esto en cuenta al conducir hacia el garage u otros lugares restringidos en altura. Esto evitará posibles daños a su vehículo y a los objetos
transportados.
Si tiene montado el Soporte asi como sus accesorios (sujetabicicletas, etc.) no utilize un lava-autos.
Atención. Los ajustes de tornillos y la sujeción de los objetos transportados compruebelos siempre luego de un recorrido de corto tiem-
po. Mientras conduce por carreteras de montaña o terrenos irregulares revíselos con frecuencia. De la misma manera, compruebelos
antes de cada viaje!
Las piezas dañadas del Soporte Básico o de ser el caso reparaciones deben ser realizados por talleres o servicios espacializados.
