4. Main components

Rail (Fig. 1)
Aluminium rail sized 45 x 60 mm and 3000 long. The
rail can be cut and drilled at Tractel and delivered in
different lengths.
Rail corner at 90º (Fig. 2)
Curved rail at 90°, bending radius 550 mm at the rail
base.
• Angle rail wall model to pass an exterior angle (pos.
A in Fig. 2).
• Angle rail wall model to pass an interior angle (pos.
B in Fig. 2).
• Angle model to pass to ceiling (pos. C in Fig. 2).
Connection rail (Fig. 3)
Connection rail to link 2 rails. Set with 4 screws M8.
End stop (Fig. 4)
Stop system which avoid sliders getting out of the rail.
Removable end stop (Fig. 5)
Stop system with mechanism that permits the slider
to get out of the rail with a voluntary manual action,
equipped with a return spring reloading automatically
the stop in closed position.
Bracket (Fig. 6)
Rail support set by a screw M12. The part can be
installed on metallic support or concrete. The rail
gets blocked in the bracket through the tightening of
two lateral M8 countersunk socket head screws. An
expansion bracket version is available to allow the rail
to glide on and to permit the rail expansion.
If expansion brackets are used, at least one bracket, as
described above, must be used to ensure the position
blocking of the rail.
Drilling jig (Fig. 7)
Tool for drilling the aluminium rail accurately. To ease
the installation, cutting, drilling and the pre-assembly of
the rail when this cannot be done at our workshop.
Standard slider (Fig. 8)
Slider with 8 wheels with needle bearings and EPDM
coating. It can slide on rails on the ground, overhead
and wall position.
Rolling slider (Fig. 9)
Slider with 4 wheels and needle bearings, used mainly
for rail in overhead position. It allows a better rolling with
weight, in particular with heavy self-retracting fall arrester.
