Muting mode

The muting mode becomes active if the following conditions are satisfied:
Muting conditions
Number of muting
sensors
2
4
Tab. 3-1: Muting conditions
Concurrence monitoring
In addition to the muting conditions, the concurrence monitoring
function can also be activated (see Tab. 5-3). One of the muting
sensor pairs must then respond within 3 seconds. Tab. 3-2 gives
the precise conditions for the respective number of sensors.

Sequence monitoring
The sequence monitoring function can be activated in addition to
the muting conditions (see Tab. 5-3). The muting sensors must
then respond and be released in a specific sequence. Tab. 3-3
gives the precise conditions for the respective number of sensors.

Muting conditions
M 1 & M 2
M 1 & M 2 or M 3 & M 4
While the muting conditions are transferred to the other
sensor pair, the muting condtion is briefly
M 1 & M 2 & M 3 & M 4.
Muting conditions + concurrence monitoring
M 1 & M 2 must respond within 3 seconds.
M 3 must respond first, followed by M 1 & M 2 within
3 seconds. M 3 should not be released until M 1 &
M 2 respond (direction detection).
M 1 & M 2 must respond within 3 seconds, of each other
M 3 & M 4 must respond within 3 seconds, of each other.
A sensor pair must not be released until the other
sensor pair responds. The sequence is irrelevant.
Muting conditions + sequence monitoring
Sequence monitoring not possible.
The muting sensors must become active in the sequence
M 3 before M 1 & M 2 (direction detection).
The muting sensors must become active in the sequence
M 1 before M 2 before M 3 before M 4 or M 4 before M 3
before M 2 before M 1.
The order of M 1 - M 2 - M 3 - M 4 ONLY is permitted for
direction detection.
