Overview of inlet filter
(1) Return inlet filters for injectors A and B
(2) Injection inlet filters for injectors A, B, C and D
(3) Return inlet filters for injectors C and D for injector return
1. Remove all injectors.
2. Swivel the high-pressure rail to position "P."
3. Remove the hose assembly from the inlet filter. Slide
up the release sleeve on the quick-release coupling
(1), and pull out the hose assembly (2).

5. Manually turn the inlet filter in the direction indica‐
ted by the arrow to unscrew and remove it. On inlet
filters with an O-ring seal, the O-ring
moved along with the filter. This type of inlet filter is
identifiable by the groove on its front.

1. Clamp the inline filter in a vise with the connection
threads facing down.
2. Use a wrench to loosen the filter housing.
