Do not expose the device to environments containing flammable anesthetic mixtures.
Avoid excessive mechanical shocks and vibrations.
Beware fingers can be caught and pinched the back of the device when in operation.
Do not insert wedges between the carbon blades as this may cause premature failure of the carbon blades.
Weatherproof
A weatherproof device can be used in a wet and/or humid environment but cannot be submerged. Freshwater
splashing against the enclosure from any direction will have no harmful effect.
Dry thoroughly after contact with freshwater. Freshwater: includes tap water. Excludes salt and chlorinated water.
Weatherproof components must be used with the device for a weatherproof system.

screws can be used. Adapter installation and set-screw tightening must be performed according to instructions
provided in respective accompanying documents.
SUPPORTED ACTIVITIES
The device automatically adjusts its behavior to activities including standing, walking, ramp ascent/descent, and
stair ascent/descent.
Note: The device only moves in swing phase when not under load. Excessive loading in swing phase, caused by
short swing phase duration (lower than . sec), heavy shoes, interrupted swing cycle or foot contact with the
ground, can result in an incomplete movement.
The device is equipped with a safety mechanism to cease motion in case it is unable to move to the desired
position.
Level Walking
• When walking on level ground above . km/h ( . mph), the device will raise the forefoot in swing phase to
provide more ground clearance to reduce risk of stumbling.
• This motion occurs only after the first two prosthetic steps and in each prosthetic step thereafter.
Note: Circumduction or any abnormal side movement may interrupt initiation of dorsiflexion during swing phase.
Incline – Ascent
Warning: Inclines of more than
in unexpected device alignment.
• The device will gradually raise forefoot to accommodate the angle of the incline.
• During swing phase, the device will raise forefoot to provide additional ground clearance, lowering risk of
stumbling.
° (ascending and descending) may trigger the stair response function, resulting
