SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warnings
Össur products and components are designed and tested according to applicable official standards, or an in-house
defined standard should no official standard apply. Compatibility and compliance with these standards is achieved
only if Össur products are used with recommended components. Please refer to the Össur catalog for
recommended device components.
Immediately cease using the device if unusual movement or product wear is detected and consult a practitioner.
In cases of damage, malfunction, changes in alignment, or functional loss, the user should immediately cease
using the device, and return it to their practitioner.
Improper handling and/or adjustment of the device may lead to malfunction.
The device is battery-operated. In cases of power failure or depletion, the device may malfunction and subject the
user to risk of falling.
Listen to audio warning signals. Attention to audio signals emitted by the device is critical for safe device
operation. Take the measures provided in this document, specifically in the section "Additional Device Feedback".
The device has been designed and tested based on single patient usage. DO NOT use with multiple patients.
Adhere to local ordinance or regulations for proper disposal of the device, accessories, and packaging.
Precautions
The device does not support use in high impact activities, sports, excessive loading, and heavy-duty use.
Do not wear boots or shoes restricting movement of the ankle area (i. e. due to height or stiffness of material).
Ankle motion restriction will impair device function.
Avoid impact to the interface panel on front and back of device.
Extended exposure to temperatures below °C (
°F) may prevent the ankle from moving as expected.
