WARNUNG: Das Linsenglas am distalen
Ende des flexiblen CMOS Video-Cysto-
Urethroskops kann sich z. B. durch
mechanische Einwirkung lösen. Deshalb
muss vor und nach jeder Dekontamination
das Linsenglas auf Beschädigung und
Vorhanden sein überprüft werden.
5.10.4 Handhabung des Arbeitskanals
Instrumente oder Reinigungsbürsten nicht
gewaltsam durch die Kanäle führen. Dies kann zur
Beschädigung des Mantels führen, vor allem dann,
wenn die Spitze des Instrumentes abgewinkelt ist.
Beachten Sie beim Anschluss und Betrieb
von Lichtquellen und Saug-/Spülgeräten die
Gebrauchsanweisungen der jeweiligen Geräte.
Die von KARL STORZ empfohlenen Spülgeräte
sind auf einen maximalen Druck von 54 kpa
(400 mmHg/0,54 bar/7,8 psi) eingestellt.
• Verwenden Sie den LUER-Adapter 27014 Y
zum Abdichten des Instrumentenkanals beim
Einführen von Instrumenten
• Durch den Instrumentenkanal des flexiblen
CMOS Video-Cysto-Urethroskops können
speziell dafür entwickelte Instrumente eingeführt
werden. Achten Sie auf geeignete Länge und
Durchmesser des Zubehörs. Ungeeignetes
Zubehör kann flexible CMOS Video-Cysto-
Urethroskope beschädigen. Bei Fragen
zum Zubehör wenden Sie sich bitte direkt
an KARL STORZ oder an den autorisierten
Fachhandel.

HINWEIS: Bei der ersten Benutzung
des Lippenventils wird dem Instrument
ein erhöhter Arbeitswiderstand
entgegengebracht. Dieser Widerstand
reduziert sich mit zunehmendem Einsatz.
• Beim Einführen eines Instrumentes in den
Instrumentenkanal muss sich das flexible CMOS
Video-Cysto-Urethroskop in gerader, nicht
abgewinkelter Position befinden.

due to mechanical forces. For this reason,
it is essential to check that the lens is
undamaged and present before and after
decontamination.
5.10.4 Handling the working channel
Do not use force when guiding the instruments and
cleaning brushes through the channels. This can
cause damage to the exterior, particularly if the tip
of the instrument is deflected.
When connecting and operating light sources and
suction/irrigation devices, pay attention to the
instruction manuals for the particular devices. The
irrigation devices recommended by KARL STORZ
are set to a maximum pressure of 54 kPa
(400 mmHg/0.54 bar/7.8 psi).
• Use the LUER adapter 27014 Y to seal
the instrument channel when introducing
instruments.
• Instruments developed specially for this purpose
can be introduced through the instrument
channel of the flexible CMOS Video-Cysto-
Urethroscope. Make sure that the accessories
are of the appropriate length and diameter.
Unsuitable accessories can damage the flexible
CMOS Video-Cysto-Urethroscopes. If you have
any questions concerning accessories, please
contact KARL STORZ directly or an authorized
specialist dealer.

NOTE: When the lip valve is first used,
the instrument is subjected to increased
resistance. This resistance will decrease the
more often the lip valve is used.
• When introducing an instrument into the
instrument channel the flexible CMOS Video-
Cysto-Urethroscope must be in a straight,
nondeflected position.

CUIDADO: La lente en el extremo
distal del videocistouretroscopio flexible
CMOS puede soltarse, p. ej., por efectos
mecánicos. Por ello, antes y después de
cada limpieza debe verificar la presencia de
la lente y la ausencia de desperfectos.
5.10.4 Manejo del canal de trabajo
Introduzca los instrumentos o cepillos de limpieza
en los canales sin emplear violencia. Esto puede
provocar deterioros en la camisa, principalmente si
la punta del instrumento está acodada.
Al conectar y utilizar fuentes de luz y aparatos
de succión/irrigación, observe los Manuales
de instruciones de los aparatos respectivos.
Los aparatos de irrigación recomendados por
KARL STORZ están ajustados a una presión
máxima de 54 kpa (400 mmHg/0,54 bar/7,8 psi).
• Utilice el adaptador LUER 27014 Y para obturar
el canal para instrumentos al introducir los
mismos.
• A través del canal para instrumentos del
videocistouretroscopio flexible CMOS pueden
introducirse instrumentos especialmente
desarrollados al efecto. Preste atención
a una longitud y diámetro adecuados
de los accesorios. El uso de accesorios
inadecuados puede provocar deterioros en el
videocistouretroscopio flexible CMOS. Para
consultas con respecto a los accesorios,
diríjase directamente a KARL STORZ o a un
establecimiento especializado autorizado.

NOTA: Al utilizar la válvula de labios por
primera vez, el instrumento encuentra
una mayor resistencia de trabajo.
Esta resistencia se va reduciendo al ir
aumentando la aplicación.
• Al introducir un instrumento en el canal para
instrumentos, el videocistouretroscopio flexible
CMOS ha de estar en posición recta, no
angulada.
