Possible cause
Cylinder or valve malfunctioning
Dust is hard to clean, normal
cleaning does not work.
Control system setting incorrect.
Air pressure or airflow to low
Dirt in compressed air lines, valve
or cylinder.
TVFD stop function activated. Re-
set button not pressed.
Solenoid Valves not connected
properly.
Control system malfunctioning.
Deposits/ blockage in TVFD.
Silenced exhaust regulators (see
Figure 21/12)
TVFD does not close
Internal fuse F1
Sensor not positioned correctly.
Sensor not connected properly.
Control system setting.
Position Sensor/sensors malfunc-
tioning (UPS & LPS)
Relief panel open/ damaged.

Solution
Replace cylinder or valve
Contact your nearest authorised
dealer or AB Ph. Nederman & Co..
for technical advice.
See the instructions for the con-
trol system you use.
Adjust pressure. Check feed hose
dimension
Clean / replace.Use a filter for
compressed air.
Set the TVFD in normal operation.
Check connections. Test manual
override (see Figure 21/16).
Check control system. Test manual
override.
Clean TVFD.
Open regulators. Check closing
speed.

Replace
Test and position it so it triggers
when the valve is closed.
Check connections.
Check settings.
Replace position sensor
Replace. Note! This may be the
result of a more serious problem.
