7.11 Setting the welding torch type and earth cable
Open the options menu.

Select the option parameter <tch> (torch).

The welding torch type and cable assembly length are displayed as values on the middle display.
1 = gas cooled
2 = liquid cooled
Example: <204> = water-cooled welding torch with a 4 m cable assembly
Turn the right-hand knob to select the welding torch type and the length of the cable assembly.

Select the option parameter <cbl> (cable).

Turn the right-hand knob to set the total length of the earth cable. The value is displayed on the right-hand

display.
To save the settings, press the <Wire feed> button. Alternatively, the setting is automatically saved after

20 s and the display switches back to the main menu.
7.12 Managing jobs
7.12.1 Accessing and saving jobs
Up to 100 jobs can be stored in the control box.
Press the <Gas test/load> button to access the job menu.

<Job> appears on the left-hand display. The job number appears on the right-hand display. The status of the
memory location appears on the middle display:

► Turn the right-hand knob to select the desired memory location.
► Press the <Wire feed> button to save the current settings.
► Press the <Gas test/load> button to load a previously saved job.
► To overwrite a memory location, press and hold the <Wire feed> button for more than 1 s.
7.12.2 Deleting jobs/factory settings
The control system can be used to delete all jobs saved by the user or to perform a factory reset on the entire
control system.
Deleting jobs
Press and hold the <Fx> button> until <EC1> appears on the left-hand display.

Repeatedly press the <Fx> button until <rES 1 -Job> appears on the display.

Press and hold the <Gas test> button until <clr> disappears from the right-hand display. The jobs have

been deleted.
Factory settings
Press and hold the <Fx> button> until <EC1> appears on the left-hand display.

Repeatedly press the <Fx> button until <rES 2 -All> appears on the display.

Press and hold the <Gas test> button until <clr> disappears from the right-hand display. The control

system has been reset to the factory settings.
7.13 Locking the control system
To prevent third parties from modifying the settings, the control system can be locked.
Repeatedly press the <Fx> button until <CODE> appears on the display.

Turn the left-hand knob to select any number between 0001 and 9999.

Press the <Wire feed> button to lock the control system. It is now only possible to set the wire feed speed
3
and use the gas test and wire feed functions.
