9.3 Replacing the filter
Health risk caused by harmful dust
Improper filter replacement can lead to harmful dust and debris penetrating the ambient air. The
extraction device contains harmful welding fume particles as of the first use. It can harm the respiratory
tract if inhaled.
► Wear your personal protective equipment: respiratory mask, protective gloves, safety goggles,
► Send bystanders out of the danger zone.
► Use only a suitable dust class H industrial vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the extraction device.
The filter can be replaced with the welding torch attached or disconnected.
