9 Maintenance and cleaning
9.1 Maintenance and cleaning intervals
The specified intervals are standard values and refer to single-shift operation. We recommend recording the
inspections. The date of the inspection, the detected defects and the name of the inspector must be observed.

► Check cables, connector hoses, and connections to ensure that they
are securely connected and not damaged, and replace them if
necessary.
► Check the filter and replace it if necessary.

► Clean outer surfaces.

► Check the device for visible damage.
► Check that all movable parts and roller bearings are fully functional
and replace them if necessary.
► Have ABICOR BINZEL or another authorized specialist perform
a safety inspection in accordance with DIN IEC 60974 Part 4:
"Periodic inspection and testing".
► Perform a visual inspection by looking through the housing from the
outside to check if the finned heat exchanger is dirty. If necessary,
have the finned heat exchanger cleaned by ABICOR BINZEL or
another authorized specialist.
► Clean the wire guide tube and wire guide liner with compressed air.
► Replace the wire guide liner.
► Replace the wire feed rollers in pairs.

Open the twist locks (2×).

Remove the wire spool adapter with the empty wire spool

and place a new wire spool on it.
Reinsert the wire spool adapter into the wire feeder.
