HINTS FOR CORRECT OPERATION
@ To operate the remote controller, it should have an
unobstracted line of sight with the REMOTE SEN-
SOR. This is because the remote controller uses in-
frared light rays.
@
When there is a strong ambient light source, the per-
formance
of the
infrared
REMOTE
SENSOR
is
degraded, which can cause unreliable operation.
@
Recommended effective distance for wireless opera-
tion is 7 meters (23 feet). Operation can be perform-
ed at an angle of up to 30° from either side, but ef-
fective distance becomes somewhat shorter.
@ Using other televisions with the same type of in-
frared
remote
control,
in the same
direction, will
cause the system to operate incorrectly. Do not use
other kinds of wireless
remote
controllers
at the
same time.
@ When no operation occurs, move the remote con-
troller closer to the tuner unit and make sure it faces
towards the tuner.
BEFORE REMOTE OPERATION
This remote controller allows wireless operation of
the amplifier, tuner, CD player, graphic equalizer and
cassette deck.
Note
To change the current sound source, stop the source
currently being played, then start playing the newly
selected source.
