12. CLEANING 1. DESCRIZIONE DEI COMPONENTI
12.1 Cleaning the heat pump
WARNING
Before performing any maintenance make sure you have removed the
power acting on the switch.
• Check that the staff wears suitable individual protection devices.
• The extraordinary maintenance operations must be performed by
qualified staff.
• The Heat pump contains refrigerant that requires special disposal.
• On conclusion of its useful life, remove the air conditioner with caution.
• The Heat pump must be taken to a relevant collection centre or the
dealer, which will dispose of it correctly and suitably.
Do not use the followings for cleaning.
Gasoline, benzine, thinner or cleanser may damage the
coating of the unit.
13. DISPOSAL
13.1 WEEE Information Note
Pursuant to art. 26 of Legislative Decree no. 49 of 14 March 2014
"Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE)".
The crossed-out bin symbol on the equipment indicates that within the
European Union all electrical and electronic products at the end of their
service life must be collected separately from other waste. Do not dispose
of this equipment in general purpose municipal waste. Transfer the equip-
ment to the appropriate separate collection centres for electrical and
electronic waste or return it to the dealer when purchasing new equipment
of an equivalent type. Adequate separate collection of the equipment for
subsequent recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal
helps to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and health
due to the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic
equipment and deriving from incorrect disposal or improper use of the
same equipment or parts thereof. Separate collection also promotes the
recycling of the materials of which the equipment is composed.
The current legislation provides for penalties in the event of improper
disposal of the product.
12.2 Water Condensate Drainage Check
Winter in the use of the heat pump check the proper drainage of conden-
sation water-
- Check out the water outlet dall'estreintà the condensate drain pipe after
1 hour of operation.
- In case of no output out of water require intrvento an authorized service
center for the necessary checks.
13.2 Disposal of packaging
All packaging materials must be disposed of without harming the environ-
ment. Cardboard packaging and plastic wrapping must be landfilled and
recycled.
Ask your Municipality about how to dispose of waste.
