ASSEMBLY AND START-UP
4.1. Installation
4.1.1. Component installation
To mount the pole (23), insert it into the power unit by matching the holes, then secure with the anti-rotation screw
(26). Tighten the 4 clamp screws on the power unit and clamp the pole:
To mount the cutting head, insert it on the extension pole (23) by matching the holes, then secure with the anti-
rotation screw (27). Secure the head by tightening the screw (28).
4.1.2. Start-up warnings
CAUTION!
• Before starting the motor, make sure that the chain is not touching any foreign bodies.
• Never work on trees or ladders, since it is extremely dangerous.
• Before starting work with the tool, wear protective clothes. Check that all the safety and protective
devices are functional and correctly assembled.
• Check whether the cutting bar (15) and chain (16) are fitted correctly and whether the chain has the
correct tension.
• Check that all the tightening screws are locked correctly.
4.1.3. Lubrication tank filling
Fill the oil tank (20) for chain lubrication. Lack of oil may cause chain seizing. The lubrication is automatic and
does not need any adjustment.
Oil tank capacity of 50 ml.
