CAUTION!
Do not use salvaged oil. It could damage the lubrication pump.
Use only and exclusively suitable chainsaw chain lubrication oil available on the market.
CAUTION!
Before refuelling, always clean the area around the cap (11) to prevent impurities from getting into the tank (20).
4.1.4.
Starting the tool
•
Connect the connector (9) of the power cable (13) to the battery.
•
Hold the handles of the tool firmly with both hands.
4.2.
Stopping the tool
Releasing the operating lever (7) will bring the motor and chain to an immediate stop.
Stop the motor before placing the tool on a surface.
After using the tool for a few minutes, check the chain tension:
•
Stop the motor by releasing the operating lever (7);
•
Switch the tool off using the ON/OFF switch (5);
•
Disconnect the power cable (13);
•
Allow the cutting bar to cool for a few minutes;
•
Check chain tension (16) (par. 6.1.2).
CAUTION!
Do not put down or leave the tool unattended before the chain (16) is stopped and the chain cover is put
back on, in order to avoid danger or damage to property or persons, as soon as use is finished.
4.3.
Delivery and handling
The tool is packed and transported from the manufacturer to the customer using a cardboard box measuring
520x240x115 mm. The packaged unit weight does not exceed 5 kg, so it can be easily handled without any special
help.
CAUTION!
The handling of loads must be carried out in compliance with the current safety rules in the workplace.
Keep the box to store the tool for medium or long periods or to ship it packaged to an Assistance Centre
for any repairs.
