5.3.a DEFLATING THE TIRE
Deflate the tyre completely using the valve (Fig. 19d).

- From the main screen (Fig. 20), press the wheel
icon to select the wheel diameter quickly
from a list (see Fig. 20a)
Alternatively, from the main screen:
- Press
diameter in inches to set the required value.
- Press the small arrows
decrease the wheel diameter in tenths of an inch
to make any fine adjustments necessary.

Completely release the air from inside the tyre before continuing. Never carry out bead
breaking before having completely release the air from the tyre. Failure to release the
air could cause injury to the operator or damage to the equipment, the tyre or the wheel.
