Scanning of Splitex models

No additional attachment is required for jaw mod-
els on a Splitex plate. The model can be placed
directly on the scanner's Splitex retainer. Through
the integrated magnet, the model is sufficiently
affixed without the requirement of additional fas-
tening elements.
▷ To remove out of the scanner: Grasp the model
at the rear or by the side and lift it off.
A P P L I C A T I O N T I P S
Determining the model height
In order to measure models, these must be
located in the measuring field. The scanner has an
automatically moving axis for alignment of the
models in the measuring field. In conjunction with
the scanner software, determining the model
height is necessary for some scanning processes.
The model height must be determined, in order for
the unit to align the model at the correct height.
The determined height must be specified in the
scanner software before starting the scanning
process.
