CORRECT USAGE
You can use the Kela steam juice
extractor to produce healthy juice
for home consumption from fruit,
vegetables or herbs in an easy
way, without chemical additives.
Thanks to the steam juice ex-
traction, most of the vitamins and
minerals remain in the juice, as
does the colour, aroma and taste.
The principle of juice extraction
Water is filled in the lower section
of the pot and brought to the boil.
The rising steam travels through
the conical nozzles of the juice
container through the holes in
the fruit basket. As a result of the
hot steam (approx. 75°C), the
cell walls of the fruit break open,
the fruit juice runs out and drips
through the holes of the fruit
basket into the juice container.
The juice obtained can flow out
through the run-off nozzle on the
juice container. The silicone hose
for removing the juice is attached
to the run-off nozzle. The clamp
makes it possible to open and
close the filling hose. The glass lid
enables you to watch the cooking
process.
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Never leave children unsuper-
vised near the appliance.
• People with restricted physical,
sensory or mental abilities may
not use the pot, unless they
are monitored by an individual
responsible for their safety, or
receive instructions from the
6
person responsible as to how to
use the pot.
• Never heat the pot at the highest
level when empty. Never allow
water to fully evaporate. Failure
to observe these rules may lead
to burning of the food being
cooked and damage to the pot.
• During the juice extraction
process, the pot, lid and han-
dles become hot. Always use
suitable oven gloves. When the
lid is opened, steam escapes.
Warning: risk of scalding!
• Never carry the hot pot around!
• The silicone hose may not come
into contact with hot surfaces!
• Regularly check the water level
