4. Preparation
4.9- Adjusting the bender
The function of the articulated tipper (T)
is to tilt the plants, aiming to facilitate the
collection and provide the maximum use
in the harvest. It has a regulation system
that allows it to be retracted or advanced
according to the characteristics of the crops.
The taller the plants, the more advanced the
tipper must be and vice versa.
Regulation:
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
FORWARD / BACKWARD THE BENDER:
Remove the bolt (A), on both sides of the
head. Move the bender forward or backward
to the desired position. Replace the bolts(A).
LIFT / LOWER THE TOMBER:
Remove the bolt (B) on both sides of the head.
Move the bender up or down to the desired
position. Replace the bolts (B).
Never try to adjust the bender while the
machine is in motion. There is a risk of
serious accident if there is contact with
the moving drums.

remove the key from the ignition and wait
until the drums completely stop turning.
