Remove the bolt (J) and the sprocket

Remove the bolt (L) and the sprocket

wheel (M);
Be aware of the sprocket wheels
alignment. Observe the quantity and
position of the shim washers (T).
Replace them when mounting the
sprocket again.
Misaligned sprocket wheels damage
the chain and compromise the
machine.
Remove the two gears (L);

Remove the bottom (P);

Using the pin punch found in the

machine toolbox, remove the safety pin
(H) that is broken;
NOTE: Generally, the broken pin is located in
the biggest gear's shaft.
Install a new safety pin;

Using a compression punch, crimp

the pins' ends so that they are tightly-
mounted;
After changing the pin, replace the

bottom (P), the cutting gears, the
sprocket wheels (K) and (M) and the
chain (G);
Stretch the chain (G);

Replace the covers (D).

NOTE!
In addition to conventional pins, 5
special safety pins, more resistant,
are provided along with the machine.
If the safety pin is breaking easily, use
the special pins. In this case, replace
the two pins.
