6. Maintenance
Replace the covers (B) before starting to
sharpen and secure it with the bolts (A).
6.9.2- Sharpening the rotor knives
Turn the handle (O), counterclockwise,

so that the stone moves away from the
cover (P);
Release the handle (Q) and remove the

cover (P);
Turn on the PTO in working speed (540

rpm).
Position yourself next to the machine.

Carefully turn the handle (A) slowly,
5.
clockwise, to bring the stone close to the
knives, until the sparks begin.
Press the handle to press the stone
6.
against the knives. Keep the pressure for,
approximately, 10 seconds.
After sharpening, move the stone away

from the knives by turning the handle
counterclockwise;.
Disconnect the tractor's power take-off.
8.
Wait a few moments for the rotor to
stop rotating and inspect the knives.
If necessary, repeat the sharpening
described above.
Replace the cover (P) and tighten the

handle (Q).
