(4) Mounting position of needle thread adjusting path
Mount the needle thread path guide 3 , and tighten the setscrew 5 .

Mount the needle thread adjusting path 1 in the needle thread path guide 3 .
2)
Measure the standard dimension (27mm) and tighten the setscrew 6 .
™ Raising the needle thread adjusting path 1 causes the needle thread to be loosened.
™ Lowering the needle thread adjusting path 1 causes the needle thread to be tightened.
(5) Mounting position of needle thread support adjust plate
Let the lever thread path 2 stay at the lower dead point.

Loosen two setscrews 7 of the needle thread support adjust plate 4 and move the needle thread support adjust

plate 4 vertically. Measure the standard dimension (1.6mm) and fasten two setscrews 7 .
™ Raising the needle thread support adjust plate 4 causes the needle thread loop to be enlarged.
™ Lowering the needle thread support adjust plate 4 causes the needle thread loop to be diminished.
1. When the two setscrews 7 are loosened and the needle thread support adjust plate 4 is moved
vertically, it is possible to change the height of "F" and that of "E."
2. If there is no coincidence between position of each thread path 1 and that of the needle thread
support adjust plate 4 , this can be a cause of problems such as stitch skipping, thread breakage,
and worse tightening of the needle thread.
