Joining station – Operating instructions
Work order "mount EasyKit on workpiece"
5. Based on the work order string, the PLC program detects that an EasyKit needs to be mounted on this
workpiece.
6. The deflector is activated.
7. The workpiece is stopped at the deflector.
8. The stopper advances again.
9. Joining station conveyor motor off.
10. An EasyKit is detected at the end of the second conveyor.
11. Second conveyor motor on.
12. An EasyKit is detected at the start of the second conveyor.
13. Second conveyor motor off.
14. The Pick&Place module grips the EasyKit.
15. The Pick&Place module joins the EasyKit and the workpiece.
16. The Pick&Place module returns to its initial position.
17. The deflector is retracted.
18. Joining station conveyor motor on.
19. The workpiece is stopped at the joining station's second RFID write/read head for writing. Conveyor
motor off.
20. The ork order is copied onto the EasyKit's RFID tag.
21. Joining station conveyor motor on.
22. The workpiece is detected at the end of the first conveyor.
23. If a downstream station is ready (I6=1), the workpiece is transported to the downstream station.
24. Joining station conveyor motor off.
25. Workpiece in downstream station.

If no sensor signal is received within 300 s, the conveyor switches off automatically
and the station switches to "Malfunction" (indicator light Q1 = 1).
