The RFID module is suitable for use in MPS conveyors or as a
stand-alone module for use on a slotted/profile plate.
RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification of objects) refers to a
technology for transmitter/receiver systems.
RFID enables you to link logical information to the physical
environment so that:
Objects can carry information around of their own accord
and autonomously exchange information with their
environment.
The RFID system consists of a transponder (RFID tag) on or in
the object, a reading and writing device for reading and
writing the transponder, and a gateway to enable
communication between the reading and writing device and
the station.
