Settings at the dosing pump
The dosing pumps are used to set the dos-
ing quantity of the detergent for individual
cleaning programmes.
1 Dosing pump 1: High pressure clean-
ing, brush cleaning
2 Dosing pump 2: Hot wax
3 Dosing pump 3 (option): Top care
Dosing can be set from 3 to 70 ml/min of
detergent. Exact dosing depends on the
viscosity of the detergent used and the am-
bient temperature as well as the detergent
level and the erection site of the respective
container. Determine the exact values by
measuring the amount of detergent that
has been sucked in. Regulate accordingly
for lower ambient temperatures.

Settings at the base exchanger
Setting the clock
If teh softening capacity of the base ex-
changer has reduced to 20% it is neces-
sary to do a regeneration.
1 Indicator lamp RM110/Anti Calc System
To ensure smooth daily operations and
avoid calcification of the plant to the maxi-
mum extent possible, a regeneration is
done in the operating breaks in the follow-
ing night from 2.00 hours. For this purpose,
the clock in the head of the base exchanger
must be set to the current time.
For setting the clock:
Remove the lid of the base exchanger
head.

Note
To allow regeneration to take place at
night, ensure that the operating type switch
at the operating panel is not set to "0/OFF".
Hence, during operating breaks set the
frost protection to frost protection.
If there is an interruption in power supply
(power failure, main emergency stop switch
set to"'0"), the clock in the control head of
the base exchanger stops and needs to be
reset. Otherwise the time for automatic re-
generation will be postponed.
Manual regeneration
Manual regeneration is triggered by the op-
erator/ Customer Service in cases of:
Start-up of the plant,
–
inadequate regeneration on account of
–
lack of salt in the salt tank.
Start regeneration:
Press red program pointer at the control
head and turn it in the direction of the
arrow towards "START". The control
light at the operation panel RM 110/
Anti Calc System will blink.

Caution
Unsuitable detergents can cause damage
to the appliance and to the object to be

detergent economically.
Danger!
There is a danger because of dangerous to
your health materials. All Kärcher cleaning
agents to contain safety, and application
notices. Notices concerning the application
must be read and obeyed. There listed pro-
tection clothing/protection kit must be wear.
Open the cleaning agent tank.
Pour in the cleaning agent, or exchange
the tank by a full tank.
Close the cleaning agent tank.
Deaerating the vacuum pipe for the
cleaning agent
When you want to completely clean the
cleaning agent container or to commission
the appliance for the first time, it is neces-
sary to first deaerate the suction pipe:
Set the washing programme using the
cleaning agent whose vacuum pipe
needs to be deaerated (at the pro-
gramme selection switch)
Turn the rotary knob of the respective
dosing pump to position 10.
