INSPECTIONS BEFORE WORKING WITH THE MACHINE
ENGINE OIL
CAUTION:
Engine oil is a key determinant of engine performance. Do not use admixed motor oil or oil for 2-stroke gasoline engines as they do not guarantee adequate
•
lubrication, which can shorten the life of your engine.
Check the efficiency of the motor (when it is not running and is on a flat surface).
•
Recommended engine oil: SAE L5W-40
Since the viscosity differs depending on the region and temperature, select the lubricant according to the recommendations.
Checking the oil level:
1. Make sure that the motor is stopped and on a level surface.
2. Remove and clean the dipstick.
3. Insert the dipstick into the oil filler inlet and check the oil level.
4. If the oil level is too low, add the recommended engine oil up to the oil filler neck.
5. Reinsert the dipstick.
NOTICE: Use with insufficient engine oil amount can seriously damage the engine.
