There are four ways to tune in stations.
¢ Automatic tuning
¢ Manual tuning
¢ Direct tuning
° Preset tuning
This section shows you how to use
automatic, manual and direct tuning. Preset
tuning is described on pages 32-48.
In addition to these tuning functions, you
can use "Auto-betical select" on page 32 to
store FM RDS stations and FM stations.
This is the easiest way to store FM stations
and FM RDS stations and we recommend
you using these superb functions.
Automatic Tuning
Automatic tuning allows you to quickly
locate a station without having to know its
frequency.

1 Press BAND until the desired band
Each time you press the BAND button,
the received band changes as follows:

The automatic tuning mode is selected.
3 Turn the TUNING/SELECT knob

When the tuner locates a station, it
