Broadcasts
Direct Tuning
Direct tuning allows you to tune ina
broadcast by entering the frequency of the
station.
1 Press BAND until the desired band
appears.
Each time you press the BAND
button,
the received band changes as follows:
jemi
SE
2 Press DIRECT.
The display starts blinking.
3 Use the preset buttons to enter
the frequency of the desired
station.
For example, to tune in 98.70 MHz,
press 9, 8,7 and 0, or press 9, 8, 7 and
ENTER.
If you make a mistake duringentry,
press DIRECT or RETURN and re-enter
the frequency for the first digit.
Notes
* You can enter FM frequencies in 0.05
MHz increments and MW frequencies in
9 kHz increments. If you entera
frequency that the tuner cannot tune in
exactly, it uses the closest frequency to
the one that you choose.
e If you enter a frequency outside the band
range, the display flashes and then
returns to the previously received
station.
