You can receive only stations with a
strong signal (antenna attenuator
function) or eliminate interference
from adjacent stations (IF band
function)
1 Perform steps [@-1-1 and [@-1-2 on
page 28.
2 Rotate the TUNING/SELECT knob
until "ANT/IF Band" appears and
then press ENTER.
3 Select "ANT ATT: ON" by rotating
the TUNING/SELECT knob (the
antenna attenuator is turned on and
you can check the reception quality
with this function) and then press
"ENTER.
In this state, the setting of the
antenna attenuator is completed, and
you enter IF band setting mode
simultaneously.
4 Select "Narrow" by rotating the
TUNING/SELECT knob (the unit
enters narrow mode and you can
check the reception quality in this
mode) and then press ENTER.
To turn off the antenna
attenuator
Select "ANT ATT : OFF" in step 3. The
ANT ATT indicator disappears.
If the reception signal isstrong,
and there is no interference signal
Select "Wide" in step 4. TheN ARROW
indicator disappears and youcan obtain
distortion-free sound.
B) To select between antema A and
B, press ANT. (ST-S361 only)
The ANT A or ANT B indicator should
appear, depending on whichantenna
you want to select. Use the sigrial meter
to determine which antenna gives the
best reception, depending onthe
stations you tune in.
