Maximum battery dimensions (individual battery)
The device requires a specially designed battery trough on both
sides of the vehicle.
Installing and connecting batteries
1. Open the device hoods.
2. Remove the battery compartment support.
3. Fit the batteries into the battery holder.
WARNING
Pay attention to the correct polarity.
4. Connect the terminal clamp (red cable) to the plus terminal (+).
5. Screw the connecting cables to the batteries.
6. Connect the terminal clamp to the negative terminal (-).
Note
When removing the battery, make sure that the negative terminal
is disconnected first. Check that the battery terminals and termi-
nal clamps are sufficiently protected with terminal grease.
Note
Charge the batteries before initial startup.
Charging the battery
DANGER

Observe the safety instructions on the handling of batteries.
Follow the operating instructions of the charger manufacturer.

Only operate the charger if the mains connection cable is not
damaged.
A damaged mains connection cable must be replaced immedi-
ately by the manufacturer, customer service or a qualified person.

Only charge the batteries with the appropriate charger.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the charger connection cables.
The vehicle may only be stored and loaded in frost-free rooms.
Note
The charger is electronically controlled and ends the charging
process automatically. All device functions are automatically in-
terrupted during the charging process.
Note
When the batteries are fully charged, first disconnect the charger
from the mains supply and then from the batteries.

1. Open the device hoods.
2. Disconnect the battery plug from the machine and connect it
to the charger plug
3. Insert the mains plug of the charger into the socket and switch
on the charger. The charging process begins.
ATTENTION
Keep both device hoods open during the entire charging process.
The device hoods may only be opened in a covered area

plied with the charger.
After the charging process
● Reconnect the battery plug to the working connection
Notes for low-maintenance batteries
● At the end of the charging process, add distilled water, observ-
ing the correct acid level. The battery is labelled accordingly.
DANGER
Risk of acid burns!
Refilling water when the battery is in the discharged state can
lead to acid leakage.
Wear safety goggles and protective clothing when handling bat-
tery acid. Observe the instructions on the handling of batteries!
